Dr. Anjan Ray received his Doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania under the guidance of Nobel Laureate Prof. Alan MacDiarmid. He worked for over 25 years across functions ranging from Quality Control, Technical Service, R&D and Marketing to General Management, Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Strategy in chemical industry. His professional interests have spanned fields as diverse as surfactants, oleochemicals, paints, adhesives, textiles, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, energy efficiency, biofuels and renewable energy policy. Currently, he holds the position of Director – CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum and is the Chairman of PCD1 from November 2016. Apart from his professional career in chemical technology, Dr. Ray has had an active interest in media, education, heritage and environmental conservation for over 3 decades.

Mrs. Ina Ashwin Dani is a member of the Promoter group of Asian Paints Limited and has served on the Board of Asian Paints Limited, the market leader of the paint industry in India, as a Non-executive Director from March 1999 to July 2001 and again from July 2010 to October 2013. She is also a Promoter and has served on the Board of Directors of Hitech Corporation Limited from its inception in 1991 up to February 1993 and again from January 2010 to June 2015.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from M.S. University, Baroda.

She currently serves on various company boards such as:

• Promoter and Non-executive Director of Geetanjali Trading and Investments Private Limited, a Core Investment Company registered with Reserve Bank of India
• Promoter of Hitech Specialities Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
• Director of other group companies

With a keen understanding for the need of infusing technology, she has spearheaded the establishment of Hitech Specialities Solutions Pvt. Ltd.’s Research and Development Centre which enabled it to provide customised solutions to individual customer needs.

She is a staunch practitioner and trainer of Iyengar Yoga and believes in spreading the practice of yoga globally for the wellbeing of mankind. Mrs Dani is a Trustee in many Charitable Trusts including Light on Yoga Charitable Trust. Mrs. Dani is the founder of ‘Homevilla Yoga’ which was established in 1994 and conducts yoga classes through dedicated professionals. Internationally she is renowned for teaching prenatal yoga to expectant mothers.

She is a philanthropist connected with various social causes and organisations. All who have been associated with her rightly point out that her greatest strength is her ability to connect with all through her humility and empathy.

Mr. Harish Motiwalla is Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He is a Practising Chartered Accountant and ex proprietor of H. N Motiwalla & Co., Chartered Accountants, Mumbai and also a Partner of Chhajed & Doshi, Chartered Accounts, Mumbai. Mr. Harish Motiwalla has over 50 years of rich experience in the field of accounts, finance, taxation and corporate governance. He represents the client Companies before the Income Tax Appellate Tribunals.

Mr. Viveckanand Krishnnaswami is a Bachelor of Science and Technology in pigments, paints and varnish from UDCT (now known as ICT), Mumbai and a Management Graduate from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies with with over 30 years experience in Specialty Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Paints & Coatings. He began his career in Asian Paints Ltd in Technology & Product Development for the Automotive OEM’s. He then made a crossover to lubricant Industry working with TOTAL Energies and Shell India managing Sales & Marketing, Strategy, Product Management across B2B space at a PAN India level. Viveck then moved to Hempel Paints India as its Country Manager responsible for Protective and Marine Paints within the Indian sub-continent. Prior to joining Hitech, he was the Chief Operating Officer in Imkemex Marketing, managing Sales & Operations for their Strategic Business Unit. He has been a member of Toastmaster International and has mentored several budding public speakers.

Mr. Atul Sethi is B.E. (Electronics) and MBA (Marketing). He is an experienced business leader who has generated transformational and sustained results in different roles across diverse industries. He has handled CXO level roles across consumer goods, private equity, academia and plastic packaging and has critical stakeholder management, strong people leadership and coaching skills which have consistently created the right environment for people development and business growth. Currently he is providing advisory services to various organizations.
